Happy New Year! New Year, New Way to PKI

As we kick off the New Year, Mark B. Cooper, President & Founder of PKI Solutions, shares his thoughts about the past year and provides a look forward at the year ahead.

2021 was a transformative year for PKI Solutions as we continued to evolve our company to meet the changing needs of our customers.

During the past year, we achieved the following milestones:

• Doubled the size of our organization to meet our growing customer demand
• Surpassed 600 students trained in our online self-paced PKI training courses
• Celebrated 46% in new revenue growth during 2021
• Started development of an exciting new PKI Performance and Alerting product for the enterprise about which Gartner Research says: “there is a real need…and [we] haven’t seen this yet from anyone else.” More news to come about this in the next few months.

We’re looking forward to continued success and an exciting year ahead in 2022.

As we all become ever more dependent on online services and devices, the need to secure data, electronic transactions and vital information are more important and challenging than ever before. In fact, IDC predicts by 2025 there will be 41.6 billion IoT devices connected to businesses and these devices will generate 79.4 zettabytes of data. That’s a lot of data!

According to the Ponemon Institute’s 2021 Global PKI Trends and IoT Trends Study, this rapid growth in the use of IoT devices is having a huge impact on the use of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies, and there is a growing realization that PKI provides important core authentication technologies for the IoT. At PKI Solutions, we live and breathe PKI so we’ve always believed that PKI is a critical infrastructure for digital business success.

We all know that a well-designed and well-managed PKI will help you protect your organization’s data. That’s why the team at PKI Solutions is laser focused on anticipating the trends ahead and our customers’ requirements. You know us as deep subject matter experts with many years of experience in this space so that’s why we’re investing significantly in our product development and launching a new solution in Spring 2022.
