Speaking at the 2015 RSA Conference in San Francisco, CA
I just got news that I have been invited to speak at the 2015 RSA Conference in San Francisco, California as a Peer 2 Peer facilitator. The topic of the session is “Cloud Based Security and Identities: Brilliance or Madness?”. Session P2P-W02D on April 22, 9:10am.
The Peer 2 Peer format is an interactive discussion lead by a facilitator and features a PRESENTATION FREE environment. So if you dread another slide deck session, this is a great information sharing environment. Be sure to stop by and participate in this lively discussion on the use and management of identities in the cloud.
Abstract:
The era of cloud computing is here, but less defined is how enterprises are maintaining control of security and identities. The use of hybrid PKI solutions enables environments to protect cloud hosted services. In this session we will explore the options available today that give you maximum control and security across your enterprise.
Whether you are using private cloud services, shared Microsoft Azure or other providers, you are faced with the question of how to secure data and identities. The majority of best practices and design guides offer little if any detail on how to incorporate and protect cloud hosted services.
This session will explore the security deficiencies and security risks in current cloud implementations.
